sunny days, sweepin' the clouds away

spring is officially here! at least that's what i'm telling myself. i am getting spoiled with these beautiful cincinnati sunny days. mother nature, if it snows or gets in the teens again i will be very disappointed! please, please, please stay this warm and sunny. kane and i have been enjoying every second of our days. we have been enjoying the library and all the toddler classes 3 days a week, playing with chalk outside and having a blast at the park. this is heaven! i have picnics planned and so many more fun things to get us out of our house.

michael got off early the other day so we took kane to the park before it got too dark. the boys had a blast kicking the ball back and forth.

L.O.V.E.

the next day was just as pretty so kane and i made a quick target trip for a few new outdoor toys and went right back to the park.

we got some chalk for $1 and a new ball.

why is it impossible to get the chalk back in the container it came in? i finally gave up and just threw the extra pieces in my bag.

this picture cracks me up... he insisted pushing it on the swing. maybe he was practicing for when he has a brother or sister?

i tried swinging us both on there- didn't work out so well. i'm just thankful i didn't fall on my bottom!

i have contemplated starting a second blog so many times. it would be a party idea blog. i have so many ideas floating in my head and i can't help but think of more ideas when i'm out shopping. the smallest little things can make my head spin into party overload. i finally took a couple pictures today at target that i thought would be perfect for a party.

how perfect are these hats for a tea party theme? each little girl could get their own for only a dollar!

and these little buckets are perfect to fill up as party favors.
