Ella's Luau

Sweet Ella celebrated her 1st birthday with a big Luau party on Saturday. She was the most adorable birthday girl ever! We love her so much and were thrilled to celebrate her!

While Ella was socializing inside, we took Kane outside for a swim.

Chelsea invited us over to her MIL's house yesterday afternoon for a swim party.

 Kane has not been swimming yet this year, but he took to it in no time! We had such a great time playing and talking with good friends.

She was the best aunt and let him jump to her time and time again!

I loved watching the two of them together...Kane had so much fun!

Grandma Devoni was the best swim coach to these little swimmers. She worked with them in the deep end and tried to teach them how to kick. 

She also served the kids fruit and popsicles! She surely knows the way to Kane's heart!

Kane and I had the best time and can not wait to go back and swim some more!

Labor Day

Labor Day weekend did not go exactly as planned. We had reservations at Barton Creek, but at the last minute we found out Michael had to work, so we had to cancel. We ended up going to the outlet mall, having dinner at Lulu's and a BBQ at the Tippits. It turned out to be a wonderful weekend.

After doing some damage and changing clothes we were on our way home! We wore him out!

I am so behind on posts I am just throwing them together... sorry!

One of Kane's favorite things to do is swim in his pool. We have a lot of rocks in our backyard so I had to get him the plain plastic pool so the rocks wouldn't hurt his bottom.

The other weekend we woke up early and went with Michael to Memorial park so he could hit some golf balls.

I took Kane across the street to play on the playground while Michael hit balls.

My new obsession is Fuzzy's pizza. It is to die for!

We always get the Barbara Bush pizza... artichokes, spinach and chicken! My mouth is watering!
