False Alarm

This morning I was having severe cramps and lower pelvic pressure that lasted for about 2 hours. I called my doctor and they told me to come on in so they could check me. Well as it turned out everything was the same as last Wednesday except I was 2 cm dilated (instead of 1 cm) and my uterus had dropped. I was not a happy camper! I was so sure that I had progressed a lot and then she totally busted my bubble!!! Although the doctor did say to monitor the cramps because it could be the start of labor. But nothing else significant has happened since lunch time.

While all of this was going on my mom decided to come in town this Wednesday instead of in two weeks because she doesn't want to miss a thing! I have such a sweet mama!

This morning I was day dreaming about this little guy coming this week and I got so excited about his future birthday parties! If he came right before Halloween we could have the funniest costume parties and serve gooey treats every year! 5 more days until this dream is long gone!!

I was trying to catch a video a few weeks ago of Kane moving but every time I pulled out the camera he would stop... he is camera shy! I was able to catch a 3 second clip that is pretty impressive. Maybe I should call a agent now for his future football career. LOL

  1. Oh that video makes me melt. Kevin & I used to sit and stare at my moving belly all evening!!

We had a false alarm the week before Carson came... and don't be discouraged by the 1cm... my water broke when I was 1cm, and Carson was here 5 hours later!!

  3. how dare them bust your bubble like that! love the video! Macy was breech {butt first} and the night before my c-section she was trying to turn herself back around and my belly was like that. You are so lucky you got it on tape! Maybe it wont be much longer! Hope your having a great day! = )
