meeting Santa

A couple weeks ago, we met some friends at the Brookwood community to have breakfast with Santa. The kids were able to sit on Santa's lap, eat, play, and decorate gingerbread cookies.

Amberly was the first one to see Santa out of the kids. She was not a fan to say the least!
When it was Kane's turn, he willingly got in his lap and talked to him.
But after a few seconds, he realized Santa was a stranger and he was done!

So, we tried again as a family.

Caden jumped right in his lap and spit out a whole list of things that he wanted. Such a brave boy!
Aunt Ashley wanted her picture with Santa too. I think Santa enjoyed this one the most. :)

Aunt Ashley entertained the kids with her phone, while we waited to be seated for breakfast.
After breakfast, the kids got to decorate cookies.

When we took them outside to try and get a group picture, everything was going great, until they discovered that the rocks were fun to throw!

As we were leaving, Chelsea saw Santa driving off!
