sweets

this post is dedicated to food. well sweets really.

i found this awesome book the other day. i can not wait until kane can eat sandwiches so we can try all these cute ideas.

here are some of my favorites!

i just purchased this-

Pancake Molds Transportation
although im on the hunt for the ones that can do this...

Jungle Pancake Molds, Set...

and eventually i'll get this

North Pole Pancake Molds

all because i found this little recipe

1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup baby barley cereal (or other commercial baby cereal)
1 cup formula (or another liquid such as milk)
1/2 cup mashed banana (or fruit of your choice)
1 tbsp melted margarine or butter (unsalted type)
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup baby oatmeal ( commercial baby cereal)
apple juice (about 1/2 cup) or use water if you prefer

to play along with merediths cupcake challenge i choose 2:
# 9 is my lucky number :) my birthday, my dogs birthday, my sons birthday and my anniversary. but i'll make it without the coconut. yuck!

look what else i found today... how cute is this?

ok, one more thing and i'll let you go. i like, no love this for kane's birthday

the green is the only one available at bonanzle.com for $44.00. which is perfect for his golf birthday but i dont want to pay that plus shipping. so i started thinking... the mad potter!!! yes! they have a cake stand for only $30. (go the second tuesday of the month and no extra charges are applied) i can make a green and orange one!!! they also have a GIANT cupcake cookie jar that is too cute! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this. i love pottery! kane and i went into a mad potter today just to check things out and the cake stand actually has a dual purpose. it comes apart so you can use it as a candle holder and plate! i heart the mad potter. so many ideas.
remember to brush your teeth after eating all the sweets
